Back in June i spent one weekend with those delightful men and women of the English Defence League. Working with Dan Jude we met Tommy Robinson and his associates and then off first thing the next morning on the coach upto a march in Rochdale. The whole town centre was sealed off in a police operation that cost over £1 million for what was the shortest march I've even seen, about 150 meters. Still the crowd managed to start a fight with the police and get 11 people arrested in such a short space of time. Reminded me of the times I cover BNP marches in the 90's. Same old crowd of ex skinheads only 20 years older
