Information
One of my shots from Gaza has been selected for the Foto8 Summer Show.
It will be exhibited at HOST gallery until 4th September. It’s a shot I took from one of the last remaining building about 100 meters from the Egyptian boarder in Rafah, Gaza. The building was full of families but was rendered uninhabitable by the Israeli armed forces during their assault in January 2009. It shows hundreds of tents lined up close to the boarder. These are the entrances to tunnels that go up to 1km into Egypt. Gaza has become dependent on supplies sent through the tunnels ever since the almost total closure of the broader between Israel and Egypt.
