Kyiv
Information
In 2014 Ukraine entered a crisis of its future and it's identity. Half the country looks to the West, the other half to the East. This crisis exploded onto the streets of Kyiv. Having worked in the Ukraine during it's post Soviet transition I went back to visit the protest camp that had been set up in the center of the city. What I found was a scene closer to Stalingrad than Kyiv. The following week the streets where ablaze with violence and anger.
