My 1990’s project from Donetsk, Ukraine has been published by LFI magazine, my favourite photo mag. I got the cover as well. I think the way they have laid out the story is beautiful and would like to thank the editorial team at LFI for publishing the work.

Ellie-May’s 9th birthday party

 

Went back up to Blackpool for Ellie-May’s 9th birthday party. First time I’ve managed to get to see Claire since before Covid. Things have changed and Ellie is settled well into school. For Claire things have got worse as she now has Osteoporosis, where the spine is starting to collapse in on itself. It causes her to suffer severe almost permanent pain. She had two rounds of surgery and she may need more to fuse sections of her spine together.

Frontline 19

 

The Frontline 19 Campaign I shot for @aandeddb has won several pencils; including Black; at the @d_and_ad awards.
While some of us dare to imagine a world after Covid-19, three million NHS and frontline workers carry the effects of the pandemic with them every day. Two in five of them are suffering with PTSD, which is double the rate found in military veterans with recent combat experience. One crisis has caused another. As such, Hopeline19 launched on Emergency Services Day in September 2021. Hopeline19 is a free phone service for the nation to leave messages for frontline workers. Anyone who needs it can call the line 24/7 to hear a randomised series of messages of support from the British public.

Meltdown Exhibition

The exhibition is a narrative of the importance of glaciers told in a scientific, illustrative and poetic way and each artist has a unique take on the subject. It shows scale from the planetary level to microscopic biological impact, and considers humanitarian suffering and more. Together, the artistic interpretations in MELTDOWN give visitors unique insights into the world’s cryosphere, its fragile ecosystem and our changing global climate.
